PURPOSE:To enhance magnetic characteristic as a magnet roll by magnetizing more than three magnetic poles on the outer circumference of a resin magnet having magnetic anisotropy in the vertical direction to a rotary axis. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic powder in a resin magnet to be molded into a magnet roll is oriented in one direction vertical to a rotary axis of the magnet roll. Orientation is performed by magnetic field orientation injection molding, magnetic field orientation extrusion molding or magnetic field orientation compression molding. Magmetic poles more than three poles are magnetized on the circumference of a molded body, wherein hard magnetic powder is orientated in one direction vertical to the rotary axis. Thereby, a magnetic characteristic as a magnet roll can be enhanced.
