PURPOSE:To manufacture a multi-functional copying machine having copying functions and reading function at a low cost by arranging a photosensitive body and an image sensor on equal distances from a projection lens and simultaneously and sequentially projecting original images on the photosensitive body and the image sensor. CONSTITUTION:When a light source 12 and a mirror 13 are moved in an optical system arranged under original platen glass 11, an image is exposed to the surface of the photosensitive drum 2 like a slit through mirrors 14, 15, 17. In said constitution, a position switching mirror 19 is arranged between the mirror 17 and the drum 2 to form a projected image on the image sensor 1 by switching the mirror 19. The image sensor 1 and the drum 2 are arranged on the equal positions from the projection lens 16. When a semitransparent mirror is used in stead of the switching mirror 19, the image can be simultaneously projected on the sensor 1 and the drum 2. Thus, both the copying and reading functions can be obtained by a common optical system. |
