PURPOSE:To provide an outer wall with air conditioning function which secures a large living space without occupying much space in the outdoor and in the room and is of simple structure and low cost and, furthermore, high in the efficiency of room cooling and room. heating by placing a heat pump device for room heating and room cooling in the main body of an outer wall. CONSTITUTION:A condenser 10 is placed in the lower air passage 6 and an evaporator 9 in the upper air passage 3, and because the direction of the flow of the coolant in a heat pump 20 is constant, parts such as four-way valve are not necessary, making the structure simple. During room heating, the room air is sucked from a lower suction port 7 and it is heated by the condenser 10 and then blown out into the room from a lower blowing-out port 8. Because the hot air is blown out into the room 18 at its lower section as described above, the effect of room heating is high. During room cooling, the air in the room is sucked in from the upper suction port 4 and cooled by the evaporator 9 and blown out of the room from an upper suction port 5. With this arrangement the cool air is blown out to the upper section of the room 18, making the room cooling efficiency high. |
