PURPOSE:To control a call signal without providing an incoming key at the time of performing manual incoming, by outputting the call signal to a DTE by an incoming control part based on a bit of call output information, a bit of hook-off output information, and a bit of hook-on output information following those. CONSTITUTION:When a mode is set at a manual incoming mode, a CI signal is detected by a call signal detecting part 2, and when a telephone set 13 is hooked off, and the hook-on of another telephone set is detected, that is, when a call is completed, a CI-P signal is outputted to a CA11 which performs data communication via a modem 10. Next, when the CA11 is set at ER-ON, a CML relay 7 is switched from a telephone set 13 side to a modem 10 side. Afterwards, the data communication with an opposite station DT is performed via the modem 10. Also, after the CA11 goes to ER-OFF, the CML relay 7 is switched from the modem 10 side to the telephone set 13 side. In such a way, it is possible to make the incoming key unnecessary and also, to perform the call.
