A waveguide twist consisting of at least three waveguide sections 1, 2, 3 which can be twisted with respect to one another through identical angles in each case and are connected to one another via choke connections, see S, comprises (in order to achieve a necessarily uniform splitting of the total twist angle between the individual sections) an odd number of n such waveguide sections of which three successive waveguide sections are in each case connected via an equalising drive 9, 10, 11, each even-numbered waveguide section 2 carrying the intermediate gear 9, so that, when the first waveguide section 1 is stationary and the last waveguide section 3 is twisted through an angle alpha , all the waveguide sections 1, 2, 3 are twisted through an angle of alpha /(n-1) with respect to one another. The waveguide sections can be supported in a common, tubular housing 1b which can be integral with one of the waveguide sections and additionally allows the waveguide twist to be constructed to be RF-proof. <IMAGE>
