PURPOSE:To improve anisotropy for obtaining a rare earth magnet attainable to improve a magnetic characteristic by pulverizing liquid chilling amorphous alloy powder of appropriately selected constitution followed by sintering of a molded body obtained by magnetic field medium orientation. CONSTITUTION:A rare earth magnet is manufactured having a R2T14B system amorphous alloy containing Nd, Fe, B as the main components (here R denotes Y and rare earth elements and T denotes transition metals) as a starting raw material. At the time, powder of the starting raw material, wherein a Co content to a t% occupied by T is 0-30 a t% (not including 0), is magnetic field medium molded to be sintered. Thereby, anisotropy is improved and a rare earth magnet attainable to improve a magnetic characteristic can be obtained. |
