摘要 PURPOSE:To put a defective component having a burr into manufacture while the component is improved into a nondefective component by forming a chamferred part to a corner ridge of an electrode film and a piezoelectric vibrator substrate at at least opposed part in the energy confinement piezoelectric vibrator component constituted so that the ridge in the opposed part of the piezoelectric vibrator substrate is included in the vibrating part. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd electrode films are formed respectively by applying screen print of a conductor material such as Ag to the front and rear sides of a strip shaped ceramics-made substrate in the piezoelectric vibrator element 1. The component is cut in the broadwise direction at each prescribed interval by, e.g., a high speed diamond cutting wheel. Then, barrel polishing is applied to lots of piezoelectric vibrator elements 1 cut off and separated. Square ridges 3c, 4c of lots of the piezoelectric vibrator elements 1 are polished by the barrel polishing in a short time to form chamferred part 5, resulting burr or chipping is removed. Thus, the yield is improved for the number of components processed conventionally to be defective components and the productivity is improved.
