PURPOSE:To obtain an inhibitor of blood platelet aggregation useful for preventing and treating thrombosis, having high safety, containing a piperazine derivative or an atoxic salt thereof as active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:A piperazine derivative shown by the formula (R is H or lower alkyl; n is 0-3) or an atoxic salt thereof is blended with a pharamaceutical carrier such as diluent, excipient, etc., and pharmaceutically manufactured by a conventional procedure to give the aimed substance. The substance can be made into a dosage form such as injection, powder, capsule agent, granule, tablet, etc. A dose is 10mg-1g daily. (2R,3R)-3[(S)-1-{4-(4-Methxyphenylmethyl) piperazin-1-ylcarbonyl}3-methylbutylcarbamoyl]oxirane-2-carboxylic acid may by cited as the compound shown by the formula.
