NOISE ATTENUATING DEVICE FOR COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To reduce noises by providing a bent pipe extending the straight pipe portion in an accumulator and fixedly sticking a coiled spring member to the inner periphy of the accumulator. CONSTITUTION:The interior of an accumulator 6 is connected to an intake port 4 through a bent pipe 5 connected to a compression element 1. The straight pipe portion 9 is connected on one end to the bent pipe 5 and extends on the other end into the interior of accumulator 6. A coiled spring material 12 is fixedly stuck to the inner periphery of accumulator 6. Thus, the vibration respon siveness perpendicular to the shaft of a vibration system consisting of an en closed container, accumulator and the straight pipe is improved to attain a more quiet compression effect.
