PURPOSE:To obtain a two-color image forming material of a positive-positive type by forming a photosensitive layer consisting of two layers of the mixtures or condensation products of o-quinonediazide compds. and alkali soluble resins into which coloring agents of respectively different color tones are incorporated on a base. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer consisting of the two layers; the lower layer 2 and upper layer 3 essentially consisting of the mixtures or condensation products of the o-quinonediazide compds. and alkali soluble resins into which the coloring agents having respectively different color tones is formed on the base 1. Transparent positive image originals 4, 5 for both the upper and lower layers are superposed on the two-color image forming material constituted in such a manner and are subjected to UV exposure to photodecompose the o-quinonediazide groups of the exposed parts 2b, 3b of the photosensitive layer corresponding to the common non-image parts of the originals 4, 5. The originals are then exposed except the lower original 5 to decompose only the o-quinonediazide group of the unexposed part 3c of the upper photosensitive layer 3. Said layers are then processed by an alkali developing soln. The photosensitive layers 2b, 3b, 2c are thereby dissolved away and the two-color image is obtd. This two-color image forming material is used for two-color flyer printing, etc. |
