PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity and durability of a sensitive body by incorporating a specified compd. having electric charge transferring capacity into the photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A compd. represented by formula I is incorporated into a photosensitive layer 4 on an electrically conductive supporting body 1. The layer 4 is preferably composed of an electric charge transferring layer 3 contg. the compd. represented by the formula I as an electric charge transferring substance and an electric charge generating layer 2 contg. an electric charge generating substance such as an azo pigment. The layer 4 is formed by successively laminating the layers 2, 3 on the supporting body 1. The layers 3, 2 and a protective layer 8 may be successively laminated so as to form the layer 4. In the formula I, Ar is (un)substd. aryl or an (un)substd. heterocyclic ring, Z is a group of atoms required to form an arom. ring and each of R1-R3 is H, alkyl or the like. A sensitive body having high sensitivity and stable characteristics during repeated use is obtd. |
