The invention proposes a drive arrangement, particularly for motor vehicles, which has a driving engine formed by a reciprocating-piston internal combustion engine (1), a flywheel (4a) connected to the output of the driving engine, a gearbox (7) and a friction clutch (3) which is arranged between the flywheel (4a) and the gearbox (7) and can be controlled in its torque transmission behaviour by corresponding control of a servo actuator (10) provided for the purpose of actuation. In order to avoid the noise (gearbox chatter) which arises in the gearbox especially in the case of idling speeds and high loads, the proposal is that the servo actuator (10) should be controlled in such a way that the torque that can be transmitted by the friction clutch (3) is at least temporarily limited to a value below the maximum driving torque which can be produced by the driving engine (1), that a torque excess which arises in the case of driving torques above this limiting value essentially balances out a torque deficit which arises in the case of driving torques below this limiting value. <IMAGE> |
