A diaphragm compressor is assembled from non-metallic parts which can be manufactured and assembled with such low costs that they are suitable for single use. The usual expensive fastening elements, such as screws, are forgone and the assembled parts are interconnected by press fits or ultrasound welding or by similar, cheap and similarly acting means.
