PURPOSE:To obtain a safe and odorless removing and bleaching agent, containing a bromite, etc., as an active ingredient, adjusted to a specific pH capable of producing sufficient removing and bleaching effects at relatively low temperatures and effective against Aspergillus niger, growing in buildings, fabrics, etc., and causing trouble in living environment. CONSTITUTION:A pharmaceutical in the form of an aqueous solution, prepared by containing at least either one of bromite, e.g. sodium salt, potassium salt, lithium salt, etc., or hypobromite as an active ingredient and adding an alkali agent, e.g caustic soda, causing potash, sodium carbonate, etc., and adjusting the pH to >=10. The above-mentioned aqueous solution is used by applying, sparying to parts where Aspergillus niger grows, etc., and the parts are normally washed with wafer the treatment. Alternatively, the pharmaceutical is used by dipping clothes therein at room temperature for about several min-about 2hr. The concentration used is an aqueous solution in normally about 0.01-0.05mol/l in the case of fabrics and about 0.2-1mol/l in the case of applying and spraying on wall surfaces, etc.
