PURPOSE:To uniformly and excellently electropolish the whole inner surface of any shape tube with a small amt. of soln. by providing a processing soln. passage to fixed body and a movable body, forming a soln. circulating passage inclusively of the tube, and fixing an electrode rod to the fixed body and movable body. CONSTITUTION:The shape tube 40 forming the joint part of a pipeline is firstly placed on the fixed body 11, the first movable body 12 is lowered, and the second movable body 13 is simultaneously advanced to fix the tube 40. The attachable/detachable grounded electrode rods 28 and 30 are inserted into the tube 40. An electrolyte is supplied from the other ends of the soln. passages 54 and 64 respectively formed in the fixed body 11 and movable body 13, passed through the tube 40, and discharged from the other end of the processing soln. passage 59 of the movable body 12. Under such conditions, a positive voltage is impressed on the electrode member 39, and the inner surface of the tube 40 is electropolished. By this method, the whole inner surface of the tube 40 is uniformly and excellently polished.
