PURPOSE:To enable accelerating and decelerating operation without a surplus fuel supply by determining a fuel supply quantity according to an operating condition when accelerating operation is detected, and controlling a control duty of a solenoid valve for supplying fuel in such a manner as to increase fuel during a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:In acceleration controlled variable determination means 3 to which output of operating condition detecting means 2 is input, when accelerating operation is detected by acceleration decision means 5, the optimum acceleration control time is determined by determination means 7 according to an operating condition at that time. The acceleration controlled variable during acceleration control is memoried in memory means 9, and the storage is cleared at the end of the acceleration control time. Output signals of the memory memory means 9 end the determination means 7 are compared with each other, and the signal of larger fuel supply quantity is selected by select means 8 to be memoried in memory means 9. According to various operating conditions, the controlled variable of a solenoid valve 1 is determined by determination means 4, and when acceleration is decided, a control duty value of the solenoid valve 1 is determined according to an acceleration controlled variable.
