Overload clutch

A description is given of an overload clutch with two axially nondisplaceable clutch halves rotatable relative to one another which, on their mutually facing front faces, have teeth which engage in one another when the clutch is engaged, one clutch half having V-shaped tooth gaps and the other having V-shaped teeth and the teeth or tooth gaps being arranged with the ability for limited rotation on the ends of pins mounted with the ability for axial displacement counter to a spring force in the associated clutch half. It is envisaged here that one clutch half be designed so as to overlap the other radially on the inside or the outside and have mutually aligned teeth or tooth gaps on both sides of the other clutch half.
