PURPOSE:To prevent a difficulty in operation control due to the alternating repetition of ON and OFF of a heat source by disposing a temperature sensor near the heating load end of a siphon tube to detect the temperature at the moment of turning OFF the heat source. CONSTITUTION:By alternatingly being heating upon turning ON the heat source 6 and cooled by its turning OFF, evaporation and condensation alternatingly take place in a heating boiler 4. A process in which the heat source 6 is turned ON to heat and evaporate the water in the boiler 4, the steam being supplied through a siphon tube 5 into a bath tub 1 to heat the water therein, and a process in which the water level in the boiler 4 drops to the lower limit and the heat source 6 is turned OFF to cause the steam in the boiler 4 to be condensed, allowing the water in the bath tub 1 to be drawn into the boiler 4 to raise its water level are alternatingly repeating. By such a repetition, the water in the bath tub 1 is gradually heated. A temperature sensor 12 such as thermistor and others is disposed near the bath tub end of the siphon tube 5, inside a radiator 2 for instance, to detect the temperature by activating it upon turning OFF the heat source 6.
