PURPOSE:To simplify a operating system OS or job dispatch processing and to reduce an overhead by using a 1st timer updated in all modes and a 2nd timer updated in a VMOS mode. CONSTITUTION:The 1st timer 2 is updated in an NVM (non-virtual mode) mode, a VMM (virtual machine monitor) mode and a VMOS (virtual machine OS) mode respectively. While the 2nd timer 3 is updated in the VMOS mode only and not in the NVM and VMM modes. An interruption accepting circuit 8 accepts an interruption when the timer 2 is updated with the specified value to inform this interruption to a host OS11 and also accepts the interruption when the timer 3 is updated with the specified value to inform this interruption to the guest OS15, 16 and 17 respectively. In such a constitution, the OS or job dispatch processing is simplified in a virtual computer system together with the miniaturization of the overhead.
