摘要 |
PURPOSE:To achieve high activity and high selectivity, by supporting platinum and/or palladium by an alumina support containing zinc oxide and/or chromium oxide. CONSTITUTION:Alumina is immersed in an aqueous solution containing zinc nitrate and/or chromium nitrate and the impregnated alumina is dried and baked. A noble metal such as platinum and/or palladium is supported by the carrier thus obtained. The support amount of platinum and/or palladium of this catalyst is pref. 0.05-5wt.%. Even when platinum and palladium are used together, the total amount of both of them is pref. 0.05-5wt.%. The catalyst thus obtained has excellent selectivity in the reaction reforming ethanol to gas based on hydrogen and shows high activity and high selectivity at low temp. of 300-400 deg.C. |
