CONSTITUTION:Ground or finely chopped sardine meat is mixed with cheese powder, finely chopped onion, salt and a binder such as egg, starch or arrowroot, etc., and formed into a block. The block is baked and then boiled together with raw tomato or processed tomato such as tomato ketchup, tomato sauce, etc. The sardine is preferably immersed in vinegar for a while as a whole before grinding or chopping. The mixture may be mixed with almond before forming into a block. A food free from the smell of sardine and having balanced nutrient and excellent taste and flavor can be easily prepared by the above cooking process. |
