<p>PURPOSE:To adjust the water content of a gas contg. sulfur compds. to an extent suited as feed gas to a reducing reaction and to remove easily harmful components such as halogen, NH3, SO3, etc., in the gas simultaneously by scrubbing a gas contg. sulfur compds. with water at a predetermined temp. with water at a predetermined temp. of the ambient atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Gas A contg. sulfur compd. such as a gas contg. SO3 at high concn. which is recovered in a catalyst regenerating apparatus of a dry desulfurization and denitration apparatus is introduced into a humidity adjusting and washing tower 1. Then, the gas is scrubbed with hot water 7 at ca. 50-90 deg.C which is fed by a pump 9 through a circulating line 8, wherein the temp. of the ambient atmosphere is regulated to a temp. permitting the adjustment of the water content of the gas to 1-4mol. per 1mol. sulfur compd. in the gas. By this constitution, the water content of the sulfur compd.-contg. gas A is adjusted to 1-4mol. per 1mol. sylfur compd., i.e. a water content suited for reducing reaction, and harmful components such as halogen, NH3, SO3, etc., contained in the gas are removed simultaneously. Thus, the gas is supplied as adjusted gas B to a reducing reaction apparatus.</p> |
