PURPOSE:To provide a titled scale which functions effectively by selecting the same from the group consisting of reflection members which are formed on a metallic base plate and are different in the roughness of light scattering surface, reflection members which are different in the thickness of the Alumite films on the light scattering surface and reflection members which are dyed by dyes to allow the Alumite films to absorb UV light and are respectively different in the amt. of the dyes existing on the films. CONSTITUTION:This gray scale consists of a piece of the reflection member having the prescribed reflectivities with UV light or at least two pieces of the reflection members A1, A2, A3... which have the prescribed reflectivities different from each other. The metallic base plate consisting of aluminum, silver, etc., is used. The scattering surface of the reflection member of the 1st group is changed in the roughness in order to change the reflectivity. The reflection members B1, B2, B3... of the 2nd group are changed in the thickness of the Alumite films formed on the light scattering surface. The members C1, C2, C3... of the 3rd group are subjected to dyeing of the Alumite films formed on the light scattering surface with the dye to absorb UV light and are changed in the reflectivity by changing the amt. of the dyes existing of the films per unit area of the films.
