Regulation of water and/or syrup in sugar crystal production. During prod. in an A- and R- boiling apparatus the standard "supersaturation", which can be calculated from the temp. of the massecuite and the vacuum in the boiler, modifies only first set-size "water-change", and on attaining a certain crystal content of the massecuite, the calculated standard "crystal content" adjusts only a second set-size "syrup-charge". |
