PURPOSE:To perform continuous coating not generating the inferiority of a film, in coating both surfaces of a long material by a slide bead coating method, by connecting a web with a tape and applying an oily hydrophobic substance to the surface of the tape positioned at an abutted part. CONSTITUTION:In forming the spliced part of webs 20, 21, the webs 20, 21 are abutted and connection tapes 22 are adhered to the webs from both sides thereof and, further, an oily hydrophobic substance 23 is applied to the tapes 22 at the spliced part of both webs. In this case, as the oily hydrophobic substance, several kinds of fatty acid esters are pref. used in a mixed state to be preliminarily applied to the tapes offline. When the thickness of each of the webs 20, 21 is set to 0.1mm or more and the abutted interval of the spliced part is set to 1.0-10mm and the coating area of the oily hydrophobic substance is limited to the recessed part corresponding part of the spliced part, the uniformity of the surfaces of the webs to coating is increased and stable coating can be performed. |
