PURPOSE:To prevent variation in the quantity of light emission from being generated by storing a digital memory with a value corresponding to the quantity of variance based upon to the prescribed value of light emission quantity of an electronic flash light emitting means, and comparing a charging voltage with a prescribed voltage corrected with said stored value at the time of electric charging and controlling the charging voltage. CONSTITUTION:This controller is provided with the electronic flash light emitting means 4 which charges a main capacitor 3 wit the output of a voltage boosting circuit 1 for boosting a source voltage and emits light by the discharging of charges from this main capacitor 30 and a comparing means which detects the charging voltage level of the main capacitor 3 reaching the prescribed voltage level and turning off the voltage boosting circuit 1 through a charging control means 2. Then the prescribed voltage level of the comparing means 5 is determined according to the stored value of the digital memory 6 stored with the value corresponding to the quantity of variance based upon the prescribed value of the light emission quantity of the electronic flash light emitting means 4. Consequently, the quantity of light emission of an electronic flash can be made constant regardless of the variance in the capacity value of the main capacitor, a voltage decision error of a voltage deciding circuit, or variance in the finishing of an electronic flash light emitting device. |
