PURPOSE:To prevent a glass fiber contained into a material from being damaged, by a method wherein a measuring plunger possesses a path forming a material passage between the same and an inner circumferential surface of a measuring barrel, and is turned and driven on its shaft center and a material supply device is provided on the rear part side of the measuring barrel by connecting with the rear part side. CONSTITUTION:A material is charged into a stuffer 27 under a state where a plunger 24 is rotated, and the material is pushed down by a stuffer plunger 30. The material is sent to the front through a material passage of an outer circumferential part of the plunger 24, sent into an injection barrel 20, an injection plunger 23 is moved backward gradually, and a measuring process pregresses. The necessary minimum hydraulic pressure is applied to an injection cylinder 72 connected with the rear of the plunger 23 in the direction turning reverse against back pressure, in the measuring process. In this construction, a glass fiber can be prevented from being damaged by reducing backward movement resistance of a measuring barrel 22 and decreasing force to be applied to the material.
