PURPOSE:To securely continue and interrupted process whatever timing a battery is replaced at during the use of a camera by transferring information from an auxiliary memory to a main memory when a source battery is connected by replacement. CONSTITUTION:A RAM 13 is installed newly on a module side and data written in a body side RAM 14 is written temporarily in parallel or at the time of battery replacement. Therefore, when the battery replacement is performed on the main body 1 of the camera, the data is stored in the RAM 14 provided newly on the date module side even if the data on the RAM 14 accessed by a microcomputer is lost. Consequently, whatever timing the battery is replaced at, the interrupted process is securely restarted according to the stored data.
