<p>PURPOSE:To easily reduce water content incorporated in gas at low level without consuming a large amounts of energy and to obtain pressurized dry air used for instrumentation and a pneumatic driver or the like by removing water content incorporated in gas by a process wherein a separation membrane is combined with an adsorption tower. CONSTITUTION:Gas pressurized with a compressor 1 is fed to the pressurized gas feed side 2a of a separation membrane module 2 such as a hollow yarn separation membrane module made of polyimide and the pressurized gas permeation side 2b is evacuated or purged by gas of normal pressure. The water content incorporated in pressurized gas selectively permeates to the permeation side 2b and is discharged to the outside of the system through an exhaust line B. Then the pressurized gas of the feed side 2a wherein water content was removed is introduced into a water content adsorption tower 3 packed with an adsorbent such as zeolite via an introduction line C and residual water content incorporated in the pressurized gas is removed and thereby pressurized dry air is obtained.</p> |
