摘要 |
<p>PURPOSE:To prevent generation of wire-shaped image defects and to improve yield by forming a source-drain electrode and source-drain wire electrically separately and subjecting the source-drain electrode and the source-drain wire to capacity-coupling via an electrode for capacitor formed near a thin film transistor. CONSTITUTION:The source-drain electrode 8 and the source-drain wire 9 are so formed as to have overlaps on the electrode 4 for capacitor respectively in horizontal and depth directions. The source-drain electrode 8 and the electrode 4 for capacitor as well as the source-drain wire 9 and the electrode 4 for capacitor are respectively subjected to capacity-coupling. The source-drain electrode 8 and the source-drain wire 9 are respectively subjected to capacity-coupling to each other via the electrode 4. While both the electrode and the wire are electrically connected to permit normal operation in ordinary AC driving, the signal leakage to the gate electrode of the other picture element is prevented even if the gate electrode is short-circuited to the source-drain electrode. The wire-shaped image defects are thereby prevented and the yield is improved.</p> |
