PURPOSE:To find a relative position in a short time even if it is not derived at every scan, without executing a compression of an unnecessary part which does not exert bad influence on a compression on an original picture, by considering a processing at the time of expanding, and storing an information for informing a start position of one scan as a control information for informing a specified pattern position. CONSTITUTION:In order to raise the compressibility, a compression of an unnecessary data part which does not exert bad influence on a compression on an original picture is not executed, and also at the time of expanding, a control information 12 which is capable of detecting easily a specified pattern position is added. For instance, in case when a picture 13 is brought to an end on the way, a blank part C is not compressed, the end of a compression processing of an immediately previous black data is regarded as a start byte position of the following scan line, the compressibility is raised, and an ST code is added as a start information code of one scan line. Accordingly, the details of the inside of a compressed data memory 11 become as shown in the figure. |
