PURPOSE:To reduce the adhesion of bog moss, by a method wherein a mechanism for reducing the adhesion of bog moss equipped with an ultraviolet ray irradiation part turning along the inner peripheral surface of a tank is arranged in the tank and the inner peripheral surface of the tank is irradiated with ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism 2 for reducing the adhesion of bog moss is provided in a tank 1 and water is allowed to flow in the tank 1. When the drive mechanism 10 of the mechanism 2 for reducing the adhesion of the bog moss is driven, an ultraviolet ray irradiation part 8 and a cleaning brush 7 moves along the inner peripheral surface of the tank 1. When the ultraviolet ray irradiation part 8 is operated, the ultraviolet rays emitted from an ultraviolet lamp 5 from the side opposed to the inner peripheral surface 9 of the tank 9 directly irradiate the inner peripheral surface 9 and reflected by an ultraviolet ray reflecting plate 6 to irradiate the inner peripheral surface 9. By this method, the adhesion of the dust etc. in the water of the tank 1 to the inner peripheral surface 9 of the tank 1 is prevented.
