INSULATION OF INSIDE SLOT OF LAMINATED CORE

PURPOSE:To realize a complete insulation of the whole inside surface of a slot by a method wherein a laminated core is installed vertically and a resin injection and exhaust equipment is connected to an end of the slot at the lower part of the core and a resin is injected into and exhausted out of the core while the inside and outside of the core contact with the atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A laminated core 4, tightened and fixed around the mandrel 3, is installed vertically and its outside contacts with the atmosphere and is tightened by annular tightening tools 7 with a suitable force. An insulating resin injection and exhaust equipment 8 is composed of a tank 2 in which an insulating resin 1 is contained. An under chamber 9 is provided to the bottom of the core 4 adhereing tightly and has continuity with all slots 5 and also has an injection and exhaust path 11 connected to the equipment 8 through a connecting tube 10. A top chamber 12 is provided to the top of the core 4 adhering tightly and has continuity with all slot 5. When the tank 2 is lifted upward, the resin 1 is injected into the slots 5 and the air in the slots 5 are exhausted out through the chamber 12. The air contained in the core is exhausted from the circumference of the core 4. With this constitution, the complete insulation of the inside surface of the slots can be realized.
