PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which is suitable for use as a sheathing material or an insulating material for wires, cables, etc. and has excellent resistance to marring, stress cracking and heat, moldability, strength and hardness, by blending a compsn. consisting of an olefin polymer and a hydrated inorg. filler with a specified propylene/alpha-olefin copolymer. CONSTITUTION:An olefin polymer (a) such as an ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer, an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer, a linear low-density PE, etc. is blended with not more than 60wt.% hydrated inorg. filler (b) such as Al(OH)3, Mg(OH)2, etc. to obtain a highly filled compsn. (A). The component A is blended with 10-50wt.% (based on the total amount of resin) lowly crystalline propylene/alpha-olefin polymer (B) which is rich in propylene and has a propylene content of 40-70mol.% and a crystallinity index of 30-50%. |
