PURPOSE:To efficiently agitate a material to be agitated under nonatmospheric pressure by dividing a closable agitation tank into an agitation chamber, a motor chamber and a connecting pipe provided with an eliminator of liquid and packing liquid in the motor chamber to make the pressure of respective space parts nearly constant. CONSTITUTION:An agitation tank consists of an agitation chamber 11 of the lower part, a motor chamber 12 of the upper part and a connecting pipe 13 and is sealably constituted. Liquid 41 which is harmless even if mixed with a raw material is preferably packed in the motor chamber 12. After introducing the raw material to be agitated, the inside of the agitation chamber 11 is regulated to prescribed pressure and simultaneously both the inside of the motor chamber 12 and the inside of the connecting pipe 13 are regulated to the same pressure. Thereafter when rotating and driving a motor 15, liquid 41 gradually leaks from a packing 29 for seal of a partition 18 and flows into the connecting pipe 13. This leaking liquid is collected in a leakage liquid gutter 48 via a shade-shaped receptacle 47 for leakage liquid provided on the driving shaft 16. Collected leakage liquid is discharged through a discharge pipe 51 at a proper time. Further the liquid 41 packed in the motor chamber 12 is successively replenished to a necessary level from a replenishment tank 34. |
