An attitude control actuator for a space craft comprises a loop (10) containing a liquid and means for placing the liquid in controlled motion around the loop. The means may comprise an electromagnetic pump (14) in which case the liquid itself is conductive or an electric motor 50 driving a multipole magnet acting on ferromagnetic balls housed in the loop (10).
