<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title ink having low viscosity and excellent stability, fluorescence, etc., by incorporating a high-molecular dye prepared by combining a partially sulfonated linear polyester resin with a fluorescent basic dye in a specified weight ratio into an aqueous vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A partially sulfonated liner polyester resin having a sulfonic acid equivalent of 250-1,000 is combined with a fluorescent basic dye (e.g., C.I. Basic Yellow 2 or C.I. Basic Violet 15) in a weight ratio of 1:3X10<-4>-1:1.8 through reaction in water, thereby giving a high-molecular dye. This high- molecular dye, in an amount of 1-30wt.% based on the total composition, is incorporated into an aqueous vehicle to give an objective water-based fluorescent dye. This dye can be applied to writing utensiles, recorders, etc., giving writing with intense fluorescence and excellent light fastness, in particular excellent initial fluorescence immediately after writing.</p> |
