PURPOSE:To distinguish an error generated in the process of an I/O processing and to surely inform it, by using plural display devices, and displaying the generation of an error in the I/O processing with a display and respective display element distinctively. CONSTITUTION:Operations such as the initialization of a CPU1, the check of a CRT-RAM9, the initialization of a CRT control 7, the check of a ROM2, and that of a RAM4, are performed in order. And, for example, when the error is generated in the check of the CRT-RAM9, an error number (1) is displayed on a CRT display 8, and also, two LEDs 11 and 12 are switched from flickering states to lit states. Also, when the error is generated in the check of the ROM2, an error number (2) is displayed on the CRT display 8, and also, the LED11 on one side is lit. Furthermore, when the error is generated in the check of the RAM4, an error number (3) is displayed on the CRT display 8, and also, the LED12 on the other side is lit. In such a way, the errors can be displayed distinctively by using two LEDs 11 and 12.
