PURPOSE:To obtain a bearing, capable of preventing the invasion of foreign materials and prominent in cooling performance, by a method wherein the front surface of a flange, formed on one end of a collar spacer, is abutted against the inner race of a bearing and the collar spacer is secured to a bent part, formed on the inner peripheral end of a cooling fan, while heat radiating fins are planted on the bent part. CONSTITUTION:When a shaft 15 is rotated in a high speed, most of much amount of heat, generated in the inner race 14a of a bearing 14, is transferred to heat radiating fins 18c from a flange 12a through a bent part 18b and is dissipated into cool air, sucked by a cooling fan 18. At the same time, the heat radiating fins 18c spatter foreign materials such as water, oil or the like which enter into a generator from outside when the shaft is rotated. On the other hand, when the foreign materials A, such as water or the like, enter into the generator from outside upon stopping of the shaft 15, the foreign materials A, dropped by a collar spacer 12, are intercepted by the flange 12a and the invasion of the same into the bearing 14 may be precluded.
