PURPOSE:To expand the variation of a power device for driving a DC motor by individually extending the collectors of two transistors which are coupled in a Darlington connection as IC circuit output terminals. CONSTITUTION:Two transistors 9, 10 associated in an IC circuit 4 are coupled in a Darlington connection, and the collectors of the transistors 9, 10 are extended externally of the circuit 4 as separate output terminals 11, 12. When a power MOSFET 13 is used as a power transistor, the output terminal 11 is opened to be used as a diode between its base and its emitter. and driven only by the transistor 10 of the second stage. Before a power bipolar Darlington transistors are used as power transistors, the terminals 11, 12 are wired out of the circuit 4 to form a Darlington connection.
