摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the generating efficiency of a phase-conjugated wave and generate a stable phase-conjugated wave by causing the first and third light beams to have an appropriate frequency; besides, to have a required frequency difference in response to the external electric field added to optical nonlinear media. CONSTITUTION:The first and third light beams 24 and 26 having a required frequency difference are divided into two parts by a beam splitter 18 and one of them is reflected by other beam splitter 19 and comes to the other incident light plane 1a of an optical nonlinear media 1 as a probe light 24a. Then optical interference fringes are formed at the optical nonlinear media 1 by the probe light 24a as well as the first and second pumping light beams 26a and 24b. In such a case, as the first pumping light 26a and the probe light 24a are adjusted to required slight frequency differences, the intensity pattern of the optical interference fringes moves simultaneously with the electron drift mobility and the generating efficiency of a phase-conjugated wave 27 is increased.
