PURPOSE:To eliminate a trouble in an operation by emphasizing the display of an arbitrary specific area in the image pickup screen of a device according to the brightness of a display screen or/and the change of a hue. CONSTITUTION:When respective switches 15/17 are turned on, the hue and the brightness of the specific area S part in the screen F repeat a change/ constant for every time T5. The specific number T2/T4 of respective one shot vibrators 22/24 are defined to be about 5-10% of the horizontal/vertical length of the screen F. The specific number T1/T3 of the respective one shot multivibrators 21/23 is arbitrarily adjusted within a range corresponding to 0-100% of the horizontal/vertical length of the screen F by adjusting a variable resistance connected to the multivibrator, thereby, the specific position of the screen can be designated. All the time constants of the respective one shot multivibrators are varied, thereby, the arbitrary desired area of the screen F can be specified and emphasized and displayed.
