PURPOSE:To reduce a flicker at the time of reproducing and to more smoothly view even a video of high speed operation by the eyes of a human being by respectively alternately outputting a left eye video signal and a right eye video signal having a speed twice as fast as the conventional player as a stereoscopic video signal. CONSTITUTION:The video signal of the left eye video and the right eye video alternately outputted at the cycle of 1/60 seconds from the conventional stereoscopic video player 2 is A/D converted, temporarily stored in a DRAM, and thereafter, the video signal of the respectively same left eye video and the right eye video is read at the cycle of 1/120 seconds in one frame at every two times. Further, the video of the read video signal is reproduced on a horizontal scanning compacted monitor television 3 of vertical synchronizing frequency of 120 Hz and the screen of the CRT display 3a of the monitor television 3 is viewed through a stereoscope 4, thereby a stereoscopic video is reproduced. Thereby, even the video fast in an operation does not generate the flicker nor looks unnatural. |
