<p>PURPOSE:To directly form a resist pattern on a printed circuit board from a drawing or block copy and to rationalize the printed circuit board working process by developing an electrostatic latent image with resist toner, transferring the toner image onto the printed circuit board, and then fixing the image and obtaining the resist pattern of a desired original drawing on the printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic latent image 6 on a photosensitive body 1 is developed with resist toner which has etching-resisting liquid property to form the toner image 7 and a reverse bias voltage 10 is applied between the photosensitive drum 1 and a copper foil layer 9 on the printed board 8 to transfer the toner image 7 onto the copper foil layer 9 on the printed board 8. The resist toner image 7 is heated by a heater 11 and fixed as the resist pattern 12 on the copper foil layer 9. Then etching is carried out and then the exposed part of the copper foil except the resist pattern 12 is fused away, thereby obtaining the pattern 13 of the copper foil held protected by the resist toner. This is dipped in separating liquid to separate the resist toner, and the printed circuit board which has a desired pattern circuit 14 is completed. Consequently, the resist pattern is formed by the easy process at low cost.</p> |
