PURPOSE:To perform control with fast response, by comparing outputs even in calculating process of a reference model computing element. CONSTITUTION:Inputs Ia-Ic supplied to a controlled system 12 are detected with the half of the arithmetic cycle of the reference model computing element 10, for example, at times t1, t2, t3..., and controlled so as to be set values. Also, the output Ox of the controlled system 12 is detected synchronizing with the detecting cycles of the inputs Ia-Ic, and are inputted to a comparator 14. The comparator 14 compares the outputs Ox with the output Oy of the reference model computing element 10 at every input of the output Ox of the controlled system 12, and outputs a signal (manipulated variable Y) proportional to a deviation between them. Since the manipulated variable Y is outputted with the cycle faster than the arithmetic cycle of the computing element 10, it is possible to realize the control with fast response, and to improve control accuracy.
