<p>PURPOSE:To make the movement of a tape at high speed search recognized and to display a program time not recorded even at a high speed search by switching the mode from the program time display mode into the information display mode relating to the drive of a reel at the high speed search. CONSTITUTION:As a magnetic tape, a tape on which no program time is recorded or the time is recorded only a speriod of a start ID signal, is used. At the normal reproduction, the program time is interpolated based on the number of revolutions of the drum substantially based on the program time within the period or the start ID signal. However, the number of revolutions of the drum is not utilized at the high speed search. Then the program time display is switched to the information display relating to the number of revolutions of the reel, that is, the counter display or the program time is displayed through the interpolation from the value of the linear counter. Thus, the movement of the tape is made under standable even at the high speed search and the program time not recorded is displayed as if it were recorded on the entire tape.</p> |
