PURPOSE:To achieve a higher working efficiency or the like along with a higher sampling accuracy, by arranging a robot arm remotely controlled with a CPU, a sampling device, a diluting device, an electronic balance scale and the like in a glove box to sample and weigh a specimen to be analyzed based on a command from the CPU. CONSTITUTION:A robot arm 10, a sampling device 12, a diluting device, an electronic balance scale 11 for measuring the weight of a specimen to be analyzed, container and the like are arranged in a glove box 22. The robot arm 10 is remotely controlled by a CPU 1 outside the glove box 22 to sample the specimen to be analyzed and measure the weight thereof. The measuring data thus obtained is transferred to the CPU 1 to process to allow the sampling of the specimen being analyzed with an automatic remote control as well as on a weight basis. This reduces errors due to sampling to the level about one- tenth as compared with that on a capacity basis while achieving a higher processing capacity of sampling thereby enabling decrease in work load.
