PURPOSE:To improve safety by a method wherein at an electric furnace type incinerator for home garbage when the temp. of the electric furnace is dangerous temp. at the turn-on time of a power supply, a door is kept locked and a blower is driven to keep cool until the temp. falls down to the safe temp. CONSTITUTION:After a power supply is turned on, a control circuit 9 reads the temp. of a heat exchanger 7 from a temp. detector 8 to check whether the temp. is the safe temp. or not. When the temp. is over the safe temp., the door of an electric furnace is locked with a lock device 3 and current is supplied to a blower 6 to operate until the furnace inside temp. is reduced to the safe temp. By this constitution, safety can be improved.
