PURPOSE:To positively prevent frosting of heat transfer tubes by providing within a main vessel body a heat exchanger chamber in which heat transfer tubes are disposed and a reproduction chamber for reproducing solid particles, and circulating solid particles between both chambers. CONSTITUTION:Since the speed of an airstream on the side of a reproduction chamber 1b is made larger than the speed of an airstream on the side of a heat exchanger chamber 1a, solid particles 3 are circulated between the heat exchanger chamber 1a and the reproduction chamber 1b via a return passage 1c and an outgoing passage 1d. Accordingly, in the heat exchange chamber 1a, solid particles 3 the humidity of which has been increased by the fluidized contact with the heat transfer tubes 5 are circulated to the reproduction chamber 1b and reproduced in the reproduction chamber 1b, that is, the solid particles 3 are dehumidified and held under an excellent condition. These solid particles are resupplied to the heat exchange chamber 1a and are brought into fluidized contact with the heat transfer tubes 5. For this reason, frosting of the heat transfer tubes is positively prevented to increase the heat transfer efficiency of the heat transfer tubes 5.
