PURPOSE:To automatically position a work even if a shape and a size of the work are changed, by providing plural pieces of positioning pieces in parallel to a back gauge, and providing its moving means, a driving means, a stopper, a pressed state holding means and a work receiving plate. CONSTITUTION:First of all, positioning pieces 13b, 13c and 13d hit against a work 5, and also, the work 5 is run against a back gauge 6, and by receiving its load, a clip 22 starts to slip. Subsequently, positioning pieces 13a, 13e hit against the work, receive a load and slip in the same way, positioning of the positioning pieces 13a, 13e is executed. When this operation is completed, the upper die 9 descends and a press bending processing of the work 5 is started. Next, when the processing is completed, namely, when the upper die 9 reaches the bottom dead center, a motor 25 rotates in reverse by a control part, and the positioning pieces move in the opposite direction, and return to a holding state. At the time of returning to a fixed position, a bumping piece 44 is utilized and a stopper is provided in a suitable place.
